Warm, Spicy, Uplifting Essential Oil
The warm and comforting cinnamon leaf essential oil is distilled from the part dried leaves and twigs of the genus cinnamomum evergreen tree. Used in aromatherapy for its mood improving and cleansing properties, this middle note oil can be used on its own in a diffuser, or blended with complementing essential oils such as citrus oils, frankincense, lavender and clove bud.
Compared with Cinnamon Bark essential oil, cinnamon leaf oil is higher in eugenol, which offers a spicy, clove like scent with a hint of citrus rather than a strong cinnamon fragrance.
