String Wax For All Bow Strings – 100% Pure Bees Wax We spent some time testing and sourcing the right wax, one we’d be happy to use on our own strings. This is the result; a hard bees wax with great properties for treating your string, helping to keep your string healthy, water resistant and keep your string twist count where it should be. Advert is for one bar of wax (approx). 70mm x 13mm x 20mm – being hard wax you’ll probably never need another one! The sleeve gives your bar a longer life span, protecting against contaminants, as well as giving you something better to grip while using the wax. No more waxy hands! Being 100% pure bees wax they also have a lovely aroma! How do you use it? Simple – 1) Just run the bar of wax all over your string (best done when strung), remove any excess. 2) Fold a piece of paper up a few times, fold it around the string and quickly rub up and down your string – this generates heat and melts the wax into the string. You should now find your string smooth to the touch and in your twist count should remain fairly stable each time you use it.
