Thumb lock releaseThe Thumb release is pressed with minimum effort and the tape retracts inside the housing. It can be released at any point to re-secure the tape in place and then fixed in place with the additional thumb lock if needed. |
Magnetic tipThe magnetic tip can be used to attach or hook onto ferrous metal objects for measuring gaps in windows, steel frames and other metallic work areas to increase accuracy during use. |
Double sided tapeThe tape is double sided with Metric and imperial on top and metric only on the bottom. This is particularly useful when measuring vertical or overhead while the hook end is attached to an edge. This means that measurements in metric can be taken from the underneath instead of turning and twisting the blade of the tape. |
