What Is Algae Klear Xtra?
Algae Klear Xtra is a fast-acting algae killer that is designed to kill submerged algae and blanket weed. This unique product works at any temperature to either clear ponds of an existing algae problem, or to prevent any new algal growth due to its unique UV filter. If you have blanket weed floating on the surface of your pond, use Blanketweed Klear.
How Does Algae Klear Xtra Work?
Unlike some other algae killers that only reduce the algae??s food source, Algae Klear Xtra targets the algae directly to kill it quickly and effectively. Algae Klear Xtra also contains a unique UV light filter that helps to slow the growth of algae and prevent any regrowth. This UV filter is not a dye, despite the colour of the liquid and will therefore not alter the colour of your pond water.
How To Use
- Always use diluted and ensure pH is below 8.6
- Use Algae Klear Xtra in the morning
- For light algae, use 30ml per 1,000 litres of pond water
- For heavy algae, use 50ml per 1,000 litres of water
- Dilute at a 20:1 ratio with pond water in to a watering can
- Distribute evenly over the pond with a watering can
- Re-apply after 14 days if ineffective
