Footprint scotch eyed auger bit – 3/8in
Footprint Boring Tools are manufactured using skills and expertise which have been accumulated over many years.
The Footprint Scotch Eye Augers have the Jennings pattern double twist for hand operation. An Auger Handle/T Bar is placed through the eye and the auger is turned by hand to bore. This is an effective means of boring a wide range of holes in hardwoods in a variety of locations, expecially where electric power is not available.
Major uses include boring railway sleepers, fencing posts and, using the 1.1/2in and 2in sizes, taking soil samples.
The overall length is approximately 24in.
