No need to fork out for a new wallet or purse. You can carry on using your contactless cards as normal. Simple and effective.   • HOW DOES IT WORK? – The Attenuo card contains an antenna and chip. When radio waves from an incoming scan pass through your wallet, the Attenuo card draws power from the waves and creates a jamming signal. All cards surrounding the Attenuo card within a 2.5cm radius will be protected. (This increase up to a 5cm radius with more powerful scanners since the card draws power from the scanner)
  • HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? – Forever! Because the Attenuo card draws power from radio waves, it doesn??t contain a battery. Please note it is slightly thicker than a standard credit card due to the internal circuit, 1.2mm thick instead of 0.76mm (barely noticable). The Attenuo RFID blocking card doesn??t affect phone signal, bluetooth, WiFi, or any of your other phone functionalities (except NFC) so you can use it in a phone card case without issues.
  • HOW DO I KNOW IF IT WORKS? – You can test it yourself! The easiest way is at a self checkout at a supermarket. When you go to pay, stack this card on top (or bottom) of your payment card and place on the contactless reader. The terminal will usually then throw an error message. NOTE: Unlike other RFID blocking cards, Attenuo uses technology that does not set off security scanners in shops.
