WAY TOO SMALL?!Please Read Below Before Purchase! (Does Not Fit Over “Braces”)

FAQ #1: Way Too Small? Kids gum shields EXPAND up to 20% during the molding process. (It may look small to you BEFORE molding. )
FAQ #2: The Size Suggestion by “Age” is “ESTIMATE”, which works for Most, “NOT” All, of our parents to make a decision. Kids aged between 11 and 15 could go either way. If you really can’t make a decision, please start with the youth one and see if it covers molar teeth by the teeth marks on the inner gel.
FAQ #3: For kids under 6 years old, dual-layer gum shields may be too bulky. Manual trimming both ends may be necessary. Please consult your kids’ dentist before purchase.
FAQ #4: The gap for the front teeth is narrow for tighter fit. The teeth marks don’t have to be exactly on the gap. As long as the teeth stay on the inner gel, it would be fine. After putting in the boiled water for 35 ~ 40 seconds, the inner gel will be very soft and ready to mold. You kid can easily bite through the small gap at the front. (See “Before & After” picture below)

We back ourselves and we understand sometimes it’s hard for some parents to decide which size is right for your kids. Female adults with smaller mouth could go with youth size. Big boys with bigger mouth could go with adult size. Our promise to you is if you feel the other size could fit better for you or your kids after purchase, please let us know and we will send you a replacement.

5 Easy Steps with Useful Tips

Put Oral Mart sports gum shield in boiling water (Turn OFF the stove first!)and let it sit for 35 ~ 40 seconds. (Tip: Don’t Over-boil It. Keep the inner gel facing down)
Wave gum shield for a few seconds OR do a quick cold water dunk to avoid burning mouth.(Tip: This is to prevent hot water from burning your or your kids mouth.) Molding a gum shield after boiling has the best results. Don’t cool down your gum shield too much, which leads to poor molding.
Remove from water. Place & Align in your mouth. Bite on It Until Teeth Sink to the Bottom of Inner Gel Completely. (Tip: Bite deeper for more grips. It??s totally fine to bite through the inner gel layer.)
Use Fingers to Press Edges of Gum Shield Up & Towards Teeth and Gums to Create More Grips. (Tip: This creates more gums and teeth indentations on the side of inner gel layer for more grips to keep gum shield in place.)
If You Get a Great Fit, Place Gum Shield in Cold Water to Set It Fully. Otherwise, Repeat Step 1 through 4.
