- High-quality decals will not adhere to stain-resistant/silk/satin/gloss wall paints. These paints do not work well with any wall-safe medium tack adhesives.
- We recommend that you allow freshly painted walls or surfaces to properly cure (dry) for at least 6 weeks before applying decals. If the wall is not completely dry, the paint will out-gas and the decal will not adhere correctly – there is also a danger the un-bonded paint will lift when you remove the adhesive.
- The perfect surface for a decal is a non-porous wall, painted with a flat or matte paint, mirror or acrylic board.
