- The rough sawn timber has been dip treated to provide the fencing panels with protection against rot for up to 15 years.

The wooden Close Board fencing panels are fence panels formed from vertical feather edge boards, each partially overlapped and fixed to several rear horizontal supporting wooden rails. Close Board panels are traditionally used for boundary screening and are more robust than the common waney panels. All Close Board fencing panels are supplied complete with a top capping.

All the wooden Close Board Fencing Panels are 6 ft (1828mm) width and have different heights: 600 mm (2 ft), 900 mm (3 ft), 1200 mm (4 ft), 1500 mm (5 ft), 1800 mm (6 ft), if you will choose the option with capping it, will and another 15mm to the height. Fence panels are constructed using 18 in wide feathered edge boards running vertically down. They have rails 38 mm x 50 mm running across the back horizontally. The fence panel can be finished with a capping on top as an option. All of the wooden Close Board Fencing Panels are treated with a Tanalith-E type preservative and are golden brown in colour or natural light-green colour.
