- RAT & MOUSE KILLER BLOCKS – Highly palatable poison control bait to eradicate rats and mice within homes, gardens, sheds, outbuildings and other areas of rodent activity. The all-weather killer blocks are suitable for all climatic conditions, including cellars, attics and outdoor use. Bait must be used within an appropriate tamper-resistant bait station.
- HIGH-QUALITY CONTROL – Blocks are ready-for-use and formulated using high-quality culinary grade wheat flour blended with chopped wheat, other cereals, and proteins bound together by edible waxes. They are highly palatable, and a tried and tested method of rodent control. In addition, the product contains denatonium benzoate, a highly bitter substance that prevents human consumption.

Blocks are manufactured by a hot casting process, ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed. - PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS – All amateur approved rodenticides must be used within tamper-resistant bait stations. Wax blocks must be used within an appropriate tamper-resistant bait box and placed only in and around buildings. Users must read and comply with the label on the packaging at all times.
- BLOCK KIT SIZE – This bundle kit is for 2 packets of 300g Roshield Wax Bait Block (UK-2016-0986-0007, Bromadiolone 0.0025%), total 600g. We include comprehensive instructions, support videos and technical support when required. The amount of bait to control a problem will vary depending on the size of the population; additional bait may be necessary for larger infestations.

Roshield brings to the market a highly palatable formulation suitable for use in all climatic conditions. Roshield blocks are a ready-for-use bait formulated using high quality culinary grade wheat flour, blended with chopped wheat, other cereals and proteins which are bound together by edible waxes.
The addition of other food grade materials improves palatability and helps with bait shyness and when competing against alternative sources. The incorporation of bio-stats inhibits the growth of both fungi and bacteria should the block be exposed to damp/sewer conditions. Roshield blocks also contains an aroma, giving a unique chocolatey smell.
Can be used in a wide range of areas including kitchens, attics and gardens (bait station required).
The size of rodent infestations varies heavily and the quantity of bait required for total control depends on several factors including the size of population, a large infestation will require significantly more bait compared to a smaller less established issue. It is unlikely that a single packet of bait will control an infestation when treating rats.
It is important to follow the instructions and statutory guidelines on the rear of the packet at all times.

Bromadiolone is an anticoagulant rodenticide also known as a super-warfarin for its added potency and control over rats and mice.
This type of bait is considered multi-feed which is the recommended treatment procedure for long-term and total population control.
Bromadiolone is generally considered the main active ingredient for professional operators.

Professional Quality Blocks
High strength control
Roshield wax bait blocks are manufactured by a hot casting process ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed together. This process ensures blocks are highly tolerant to humidity and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The blocks have a hole through the centre that allows them to be securely fixed in a bait station.
Blocks are the first choice for most professional operators as they can be used within damp environments such as sewers, cellers and external bait stations.

Qty Required for Control?
The amount of bait required to control an infestation will vary depending on the size of the population, competing food sources and location. It is important to continue baiting until no further take is observed (max 35 days).
As a rough rule we recommend a minimum of 600g to control a standard rat infestation and 300g for a mouse infestation. It is common for more bait to be required.
If you are seeing rodents active within daylight hours this may suggest that a population is larger than you initially think.
A common issue with all rodenticide treatments are under-baiting an active infestation, surveying the area before treatment may indicate if you have a larger infestation (droppings, tunnels etc).
If baiting around competing food sources such as chicken pens we would recommend removing as much of the competing food source before undertaking a rodenticide treatments. Significant more bait maybe required when treating around chickens and similar areas.
Rodent Bait Station Required
Due to recent changes in rodenticide regulations all non-professional operators must use a tamper-resistant bait station when using rodenticide for rats and mice – this is a condition for all UK & EU registered products.
This listing does not include this bait station however a wide range of box kits including our extremely popular Roshield Baiter stations that include a large bait rod that can hold in excess of 10 blocks are available.
Roshield Baiter stations are suitable for both rats and mice and can be used in at risk environments such as around pets and other animals.
Smaller single block boxes are available for internal mouse control. This is recommended as mice generally prefer to eat from multiply food sources.
For an average rat infestation we recommend that installation of 2 bait stations per infestation/garden. For larger areas additional stations will be required.
